Job Overview

Accenture is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Pharmacovigilance Services Associates to join its Life Sciences R&D team in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh B.Pharm graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience to work in drug safety, regulatory compliance, and patient services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and case processing for drug safety.

  • Handle ICSR (Individual Case Safety Reports) submissions and follow-ups in the safety database.

  • Manage affiliate mailbox and reconcile reports per guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with client-specific and global regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct written follow-up attempts for both serious and non-serious cases.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Education: B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

  • Experience: 0–2 years (pharmacovigilance preferred; freshers eligible)

  • Skills:

    • Understanding of pharmacovigilance and drug safety surveillance

    • Knowledge of MedDRA coding & safety database operations

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Ability to work under regulatory frameworks
